If you're like me, one of the most frustrating aspects of Xbox Live is the inability to change your gamertag. Maybe you forgot your password, or maybe you just want to change it because it's not so clever anymore. Well, I'm happy to announce that there is a way! Introducing - Xbox Live Gamertag Ip Grabber! This handy little app will scan for active profiles and grabs the IP address for each one. You can do this over and over til you get what you're looking for! Simply click download and export your gamer profile through Filezilla FTP client. Deleting your data would be the only way to change your gamertag. If you have no experience with FTP, please use the original Xbox Live Profile Downloader if you wish to change your gamertag. You can find this tool here: http://www.sharpxbox360.com/profile-downloader/ Gamertag Ip Grabber is coded in C#, and uses the Filezilla FTP client for communication over the internet. A log file is created for each session to track progress, and all data is deleted after each session; your IP address is not saved for any reason. I would not suggest using this app unless you are comfortable with setting up an FTP server, and editing .config files. Once you have your Xbox Live Profile Grabber installed, you need to follow these steps in order to get it working! 1) For each profile you wish to grab the IP address for, go to "Start" ->"Run". Type in: cmd and press enter. This should open up a command prompt window. 2) Navigate to the folder where your Xbox Live Profile Grabber is located (This should be c:\\users\\username\\documents\\xbox live profile downloader). 3) In the command window type: xbox live profile downloader.exe -c. At this point a log file should be created, and a bunch of text will appear on your screen. If you don't see any errors here, you're good to go! 4) Go back to the "Start" menu and type in: CMD again. Once it's open, use the 'cd' command to navigate your command prompt to the folder where your Xbox Live Profile Grabber is located. You can do this by typing: cd c:\\users\\username\\documents\\xbox live profile downloader. 5) Now type in "xbox live profile grabber.exe -c" at the command prompt. Your command should be successful if you got a green check mark notifying you that the program has finished running. You can now start the free Filezilla FTP client and login to your Xbox Live Profile Grabber server! 6) In Filezilla, navigate to your xbox live profile grabber folder, and click "start". cfa1e77820
